We want every person to be able to use this site, including people with disabilities. This statement describes what has actually been done, and what has not.
What was done on this site
- The site was built to Israeli standard 5568, which refers to the WCAG 2.0 guidelines, at level AA
- The whole site can be navigated by keyboard alone, and the focus indicator is always visible
- A "skip to content" link is the first thing on every page
- A hierarchical heading structure on every page, with landmark regions for screen readers
- Colour contrast was checked in every combination of text and background on the site
- Text scales with the browser's font size without content being cut off
- Nothing on the site plays by itself. A film plays only after you act, and it is muted
- Anyone who has set reduced motion in their operating system will see no transitions here
- The site works without JavaScript: the menu and the content remain reachable
What is not yet right
- The films on the work page do not yet have transcripts or separate captions. Some carry subtitles burned into the film itself and some do not
- The site has not yet had a full manual screen-reader review by a qualified accessibility auditor
