How we work
How we work
What working with us looks like, from the first scoping call to the running report.
The process is the same across all the areas; the only difference is what gets handed over at the end. It is written down here so you know in advance what is expected of you and when — most of the delays in work like this are not technical, they are waiting for an approval or an access.
The process
From the first call to a routine
- 01Scoping call
About half an hour. What the business sells, to whom, at what price, what has been tried and what did not work. By the end of it we say what we would do — including the cases where the answer is that now is not the time to start, or that what you need is not what we sell.
- 02Proposal and scope
What is included, what is not, the monthly fee, and what is paid separately (the Meta media budget, for instance, is paid directly by you). The scope is written down so that either side can come back to it and say "that was not in there".
- 03Access and setup
Permissions on the business page, the ad account, the site and the domain. We work inside your assets — they stay yours, including on the day we stop working together.
- 04Build
Producing the creative, building the campaign or the site, training the character that answers. We show work on a live address as it progresses, not only at the end.
- 05Supervised launch
In the first week somebody here looks at it every day: that the events arrive, that the enquiries come through, and that whoever answers them is keeping up.
- 06Running report
A periodic report with the numbers as they are: what was spent, how many enquiries came in, the cost per enquiry, and what actually closed out of what you told us. A report that leaves out what did not work is not a report.
Ground rules
How we work in practice
| Who owns the assets | The ad account, the pages, the domain and the site are yours and stay yours. We get permission, not ownership. |
|---|---|
| Media budget | Paid directly to Meta from your payment method, separate from the management fee. We take no commission on it. |
| Approval before publishing | Anything that goes out in the business's name is approved by a person. Including content that was produced automatically. |
| Reporting a bad month | A month where the numbers fell is reported like a month where they rose — same call, same report. |
| Ending the engagement | The assets stay with you, permissions handed back and settings left in place. There is no technical lock-in. |
| Commercial terms | Contract length, payment terms and notice period are settled in the written proposal, for each client separately. |
Next step
The first step is always the same call, even when it ends with us not working together.
